tenth anniversary

On Saturday June 19th, the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition celebrated its 10th year working to ensure the quantity and quality of the water in the 90-square-mile watershed, which encompasses Woodbury, Southbury, Bethlehem, and parts of Washington, Middlebury, Morris, and Roxbury. The celebration took place at Mill House Antiques in Woodbury. We welcomed our Honorary Co-Chairs: radio host Faith Middleton, author Ann Leary, actress Polly Bergen, and filmmaker Dick Young. Musical entertainment was provided by Marianna Vagnini, Jean Carlos Rodrigues, William Linster, Joey Loglisci, Mike Blaszczak, Madeline "Muggy" McCord, Eric Trudel, The Dean Torrey Quintet, and the Friends Youth Ensamble. Artwork was abound both in the Silent and Live Auctions, and a preview of Fern Berman's upcoming exhibit "Persistance of the Precious" was featured in the sunken garden.

Thanks to everyone, including Mother Nature, who joined us in making the Coalition's 10th Anniversary celebration on Saturday June 19th at Mill House Antiques a truly special event!
