River Ramblers
May - Sept. | Saturdays | 9AM - 10:30AM
Join PRWC on an easy to moderate hike the third Saturday of each month from May to September to socialize and explore different locations throughout the area. All ages welcome!

Stream Sampling
June - Oct | *Multiple Dates | 8:30AM - 1PM
Help PRWC collect important field samples to test for bacteria and nitrate in our rivers and streams. You will be accompanied by an experienced staff member and will learn how to properly use data recording tools. No experience necessary! Age 16+

Vernal Pool-ooza

Join PRWC and the Roxbury Land Trust at the Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury, CT for an informative talk about identifying vernal pools and their importance within the local ecosystem. This presentation will also highlight vernal pool organisms and efforts by local conservation organizations to protect these important wetland habitats.
