Make a Splash Day at Woodbury Middle School

Make A Splash

On October 15, PRWC Outreach Director Carol Haskins led a water pollution activity at the annual Make a Splash Day at Woodbury Middle School. This is a full day of in-school water-related activities for the 7th grade where each academic class features a different guest speaker. A total of six presentations were made by PRWC to approximately 140 students to help them understand the difference between point source and non-point source pollution along with ways to reduce polluted runoff. More information on PRWC's Education offerings is available in our Watershed Education Program Guide.
